DKV is one of the biggest health insurance companies in Spain, with almost 2 million insured. In the last decade, the group has strongly bet on innovation and the digitization of its services, positioning itself as the pioneer firm in Spain in telemedicine services.
Challenge
DKV was seeking a technological solution for its patients with musculoskeletal injuries to follow their therapeutic exercises from home.
Its goal was to improve the insured's experience by offering a new healthcare service that guarantees the continuity of therapies in exceptional situations such as confinements or cases of itinerant patients or those with reduced mobility.
Solution
DKV incorporated the ReHub platform for home-based physical rehabilitation across all its centers. After, one week of implementation and training, physiotherapists were able to provide telerehabilitation sessions in combination with face-to-face sessions, allowing the best therapeutic effectiveness to be achieved.
With ReHub, physiotherapists can now program digital therapeutic exercises for their patients much more efficiently, personalized, and with precise data of the degree of compliance with treatment.
