We are pleased to announce that Sant Pau Hospital is using ReHub, as a Telerehabilitation solution for their physical therapy service. The innovative initiative has been led by Dr. Helena Bascuñana, Director of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service who has been managing the department for the last 14 years.
The Sant Pau Hospital is a reference in Catalonia for its excellent healthcare, research, and teaching services. Its activity in the field of research put the hospital as one of the most important hospital centers in Spain. The hospital has a very clear vision in terms of innovation and research, which is why it dedicates its efforts to developing new processes, techniques, and treatments that improve patients’ quality of life.

Following these strategic lines, the Hospital has decided to incorporate ReHub, as a telerehabilitation platform. This new digital therapy service will be integrated as a complement to the face-to-face rehabilitation program which allows patients to perform therapeutic exercises at home.
On the other hand, physiotherapists can control the entire recovery process of patients, allowing them to monitor their progress, follow up with them via chat or video call and personalize their treatment thanks to the clinical data provided by the digital platform.
“This new healthcare service through telerehabilitation will have a huge impact on the hospital's rehabilitation service because it is scalable, it reaches a large number of patients, it is competitive in cost, and does not sacrifice the quality of the service. On the contrary, telerehabilitation improves it! as has already been validated among our clients” comments our CEO, Silvia Raga.
As part of the implementation process, ReHub has been integrated with the hospital's medical records, facilitating the management of patients on the platform.
Without a doubt, this is a big step forward in the digital transformation of hospitals but specifically, we are glad that Sant Pau Hospital embraces new technologies to improve the quality of life of patients.
